Arc Raiders Frozen Trail — Everything Coming October 8
Frozen Trail is Arc Raiders' biggest update yet and goes live on October 8, 2026. It takes Raiders beyond the Rust Belt into the frozen mountains, to a new map called Pendola Pass where one of the Emperors has fallen. Here is everything Embark showed in the First Look: the map, the Frigate, three new ARC, the Outpost, Amplified Weapons, two new guns, new gadgets and the Reward Pass that replaces Raider Decks.
New Map: Pendola Pass
Celeste and Shani traced the strange signal ringing across Toledo to an old Italian village and Exodus transport hub beyond the peaks that surround the Rust Belt. Icy air preserves the narrow valley: a supermarket and a lifeless town square from the old world, and from the Exodus era, an observatory and a buried train depot that once served as a major transit hub.
A Fallen Emperor
The reason Raiders are heading up the mountain: one of the Emperors has fallen at Pendola Pass. Rare technology lies inside, and the job is to get there and find a way in. Expect a scrambled ARC response and brutal flash freezes cutting through the valley.
The Frigate
ARC responded to the fallen Emperor by sending one of its largest vessels to patrol the area, which Raiders are calling the Frigate. It is built as a challenge for highly skilled Raiders: find a way aboard, navigate its internal passageways, unlock paths and fight off ARC new and old, all while other Raiders compete for the same prize. Expect close-quarters fights hundreds of feet in the air, where you either cooperate or cut through the competition.
New ARC Enemies
Three new ARC join the bestiary. Full stats, weak points and loot tables will be added to our database once the update is live.
Bully
A machine-learned enemy that is oppressive and aggressive, galloping onto your position and fighting with a host of lethal attacks. It is quick on its feet and never cedes ground. Use cover, time your response and hit your shots.
Skulker
The opposite of the Bully: an opportunist that lies in wait and skirts the edge of your vision, then strikes with a flurry of blows. Lose sight of it for a moment and it retreats, only to hit you the next time you see it.
Hydra
A stationary turret found on the Frigate, split into three stacked, autonomous sections, each with its own weapon. It can handle entire squads, so divert its attention, get to cover fast and attack when an opening appears.
The Outpost & Amplified Weapons
Raider Den Extension: The Outpost
Celeste offers Raiders a home away from home between the Rust Belt and the mountains. Customize the Outpost with modules and furniture, and use its Research Workstation to unlock higher levels of weapon customization and modding. Embark calls it the start of a feature they plan to develop much further.
Amplified Weapons: A Fifth Quality Level
A fully upgraded Research Workstation unlocks a fifth quality level for 15 existing weapons, with more planned. Each opens a branching path of abilities and enhancements that can completely change how the gun behaves. Embark's examples: a fully automatic Burletta, a Renegade with a scope, or a Rattler with incendiary rounds and a 64-round magazine. The goal is to make late-game Raiders reinvent their arsenal instead of sticking to the same few guns. Browse the current arsenal in our weapon database.
New Weapons & Gadgets
Stiletto (Light Ammo Battle Rifle)
An early-game alternative to the Renegade that is cheap to craft and easy to handle, aimed at Raiders with a steady shot who like to fight from distance. It can fire fast, but spamming the trigger costs accuracy.
Bantam (Heavy Ammo Revolver)
A snub-nosed revolver that punches through both ARC and Raiders, with a unique hip-fire capability for close-range gunfights.
Grappling Hook
Climb to hard-to-reach spots, abseil off buildings and swing over large gaps. A whole new way to move across the map.
Tether Launcher & Yank Grenade
The Tether Launcher connects two points with a wire, rooting targets in place, and can even attach a Raider to an ARC so they get dragged away. The Yank Grenade uses the same idea but violently pulls a nearby target when it explodes, perfect for smashing flying ARC into the ground or dragging Raiders out of cover.
Camera
A fully working camera with zoom, aperture, manual and automatic focus, plus a selfie mode with custom emotes. Photos save to your Codex.
Instruments & Stencils
Harmonica & Banjo
Two new instruments. The Banjo Blueprint comes with the Collector Set DLC.
Weapon Stencils
Reskin your weapons. Raiders who beat you can take your personalized gun for themselves.
Reward Pass Replaces Raider Decks
Frozen Trail introduces the Reward Pass, an evolution of Raider Decks. This is why Cred expires on October 8: spend yours before the update.
