Arc Raiders Update 1.47.0 — Fair Play Crackdown & PS5 Crash Fix

Update 1.47.0 is labelled a Store Update, but it carries real fixes: a frequent PS5 physics crash, the keyboard input bug that hit Epic players, desynced doors, and the dark lighting in Buried City. Embark also shared a Fair Play update with first-strike permanent bans, and reminded everyone that the 5th Expedition departure window closes on September 29 with no Last Call.

5th Expedition Departure Closes September 29

Finish your Expedition project and sign up for Departure before September 29 at 10:00 CEST (08:00 UTC, 01:00 PT). There is no Last Call grace period this time. If the Departure screen will not confirm your sign-up, contact Embark support as soon as possible. Details in our 5th Expedition guide.

Claim Your Rubber Ducks Before October 8

After October 8, the inbox message containing the community-made Rubber Ducks will no longer be sent out. Log in and claim them before then. October 8 is also when unspent Cred expires.

Fair Play Update

While the dev team finishes Frozen Trail, Embark's Anti-Cheat team shared where things stand.

Bot-like accounts: several ban waves have hit accounts showing bot-like economy behavior, with detection expanding to cover things like XP farming

High-value transfers: abnormally high-value item transfers continue to be sanctioned

Duplication: item duping is seeing positive results from this summer's fixes

Shared licenses: stricter rules on how shared licenses are restricted after a sanction, making it harder for a caught cheater to simply buy another account

First-strike permanent bans: being extended, now that detection can flag offenders quickly with high confidence

Gameplay & Map Fixes

Fix

Keyboard Input No Longer Stops Working

Keyboard controls now respond reliably after launching the game unfocused or returning from the background. This was the known issue affecting Epic players since 1.45.0.

Doors Out of Sync

Fixed doors that could appear open to you while actually being closed. Door blockers also no longer create a copy of their mesh on the opposite side.

Inventory Slot Safeguards

Swapping or splitting items can no longer push them into incompatible containers, such as forcing non-quick-use items onto the belt.

Buried City Lighting & Riven Tides Visuals

Buried City no longer appears overly dark or missing lighting, and visual glitches while traversing Riven Tides are fixed. World objects such as red lockers, toolboxes, cars and shipping containers are back to their intended colors.

Stability, Performance & UI

PS5: addressed a frequent crash related to the physics engine

Xbox: fixed an issue that could cause resource conflicts

Server shutdown crash: fixed a rare crash

Memory leak: inventory tooltips no longer hold data from previous screens, which slowly raised memory use in long sessions

Inventory screen: more stable when opening

Expedition button: now shows when an Expedition is paused after the cutoff date and blocks committing resources

Skill Tree: Skill Points are now hold-to-assign by default

Rawhide outfit: headgear now comes off when toggled off in Customization

New Camo and White color variants for the Riposta Set.

Quick Wheel: can jump between slots; improvements in the works
